Lucas is a member of the VDI Technical Committee "Plastics in Medical Technology" and a current board member of the European Medical Polymer Division of the Society of Plastic Engineers. He also delivers guest lectures at ETH and keynotes at various conferences on sustainability in medical technology. His vision is to shape a better world with plastics.
